Tableting Systems
Kerry manufactures a line of functional excipients that are co-processed and designed for direct tableting operations for use in orally dissolving tablets or for use in tablets where a hard tablet with fast dissolution is desired.
Disintequik™ MCC25 is a co-processed excipient designed for use in orally dissolving tablets – i.e., designed to be dissolved on the tongue rather than swallowed whole.
Disintequik™ MCC25 is a co-processed lactose/disintegrant excipients designed for use in tablets where a hard tablet with fast dissolution is desired. They are specially processed lactose-based co-excipients that result in tablets with a faster dissolution rate. The tablet hardness and friability are similar to that of pure lactose.
